Peter Lantry leads Equinix’s business in Ireland and is responsible for driving the company’s growth as Ireland’s digital economy expands in tandem with data volumes. In his role, Peter works closely with customers to support their business growth, while also ensuring they have the critical digital infrastructure required to innovate and support daily life in modern society. With a passion for sustainability, Peter is also responsible for delivering environmental and community engagement initiatives crucial to the sustainable goals of both Ireland and Equinix.
Peter has two decades of experience in senior managerial and director roles in large enterprises spanning the technology and Irish energy sectors. Most recently Peter was Country Managing Director and Global Data Centre Lead for Hitachi Energy where he was focused on developing sustainable energy solutions for the industry.
Peter holds multiple degrees from University College Dublin including Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a Masters in Management Science, and an MBA in Business/Commerce.
